Hi I'm hoping to get a bike this christmas, and i'm wondering if there's huge difference between the 150r(expert) and the 150f worth the price. Also, i don't know if 150 is the right size. i'm 5 11 and still growing. i weigh about 180. would a 230 be better? also what bike requires less maintenence?

go four stroke ur big enough, if u plan on racing at all don’t buy the 150 F they are slow and made for trail riding no real power. if u want to be a serious rider u have to go with 150R but its a small bike for u maybe consider getting a 250F its a trail bike but more then enough bike for a beginner.

You are way too tall for either the crf150r or the crf150f. My son has been racing the crf150r for the last few years and at nearly 5'7 he is pretty much getting too tall for the bike. You are also too heavy. The R model is the race version of the bike and the f model the basic trailbike not suited to racing or jumping, but neither would be any good for you.

Go along to a few motorbike dealerships and tell them your requirements and sit on a few bikes also have a look at the crf250x as that may suit you.
