Homemade Kitten Food? Raw or Cooked?

Hello

Please read to the end before answering, I have been feeding my 2 kittens special branded Kitten food with 50% meat as I refused to feed them Whiskas / Felix because of the 4% meat content and additives and fillers in it.

However, as I order it specially from an online store, as no supermarket near me does anything I want, it is costing me a fortune with delivery prices and the amount they are eating (greedy little things lol)

I am starting to wonder whether it would be better to spend that money whilst doing my weekly shop and start feeding them RAW meat... OR buying meat and cooking it for them...

I need some advice on

1. Can I feed Kittens RAW Meat? I've seen views saying yes and no??
2. If I feed them RAW or COOKED what meats are OK and cheapest but would be ok for them?
3. If feeding COOKED how should I be cooking it? Do they like it cooked and warm? or should I be cooling it in fridge and giving it them cold?

If cooking are there receipes I need to follow? Is cooked plain chicken fine, or do they need more?

Does anyone else have any experience in this?

Any help appreciated.

Please do not answer if you are going to recommend me buying a cat food such as Applaws or any of these type. I Know they are good, but I am looking into feeding my cats meat as an alternative to ordering online and as mentioned, would ideally like to get the food when doing my supermarket shopping...

Thanks :)
