homemade fix for bad weatherstripping in car?

i got my car a few months ago but never really had a storm until now. and a few days ago i noticed a good amount of water in the trunk and found where it was coming from. im just wondering if anyone knows any temporary homemade repairs that i could do to keep some water out. i was thinking a little bit of expansion foam, but any ideas would be appreciated
