Home sweet fricken' home

Ok, I'm home for the summer and I couldn't be happier about it. However, going from a city type atmosphere to complete country is reaking havok on my body. I woke up this morning and my throat felt like it was closing up. Then I got up and I've been coughing all day. To top it off, my throat hurts so much that it hurts to eat. I think it's from all the allergies getting to me, so today I took a Clariten, but I don't know how well it's actually working. I love being home, but I hate the allergies that come with it. Darn the lake, the woods, the dogs, and the field out back. Beautiful, sure, but miserable at the same time.

And now that I've cried a river, I'm going to build a bridge and get over it because that seems to be the advice most commonly given out now. ;)

We don't have any and the nearest store is at least a 20 min. drive. With gas prices at 3.20 and climbing, I think I'll suffer a while more. :(

Yea, they are rising here as well. I am not sure on the exact price since I am not a driver. But, I do get out sometimes to see. Maybe like $3.08 or something like that.

Actually, I was. That's why I thought it was spelled that way. hehe. oh well. I've never been good at spelling.

Unfa, I's sowwie your gas costs so much more than ours. Perhaps you should move to the states. I hear MN is nice.

And I'm still dealing with this damn head cold. At least it's starting to get better. I'm getting tired of my 11 yr. old brother teasing me for sounding like a frog. I guess it's ok though because I really do sound funny. Anyway, I'm going to take a bath at some point and then have a nice swig of nyquil. Hopefully I'll be rested enough for running around doing errands tomorrow. I hope.
