I have a question about remodeling a bathroom. My bathroom has tile wrapped around it an its going to be an ordeal to take all the tile off, take the bathtub out etc.So my plan is to 1st,because my tile in the bathtub area needs to be replaced badly to 1st just take out the tub an put in a bathtub insert an finish the bathroom as money allows. So to any remodeling expert what would be a game plan? I know tile is very hard to cut through especially to be able to leave some up an take some out,so is it possible to leave til on my bathroom walls, like across from the toilet, vanity etc but put in a insert? I figure it wont look great but how would it be done to be able to join it all together at a later date an make it look good? And what about a bathroom window? how does that work with a bathroom insert? Do you just cut an opening in the insert? I have researched it but get weird google search answers so i ask you guys/gals.I dont really wanna just cover up a window ,an i dont want to put til back up.The tile surrounding my bathroom is the big problem i have .How to put in a insert but have the grenn tile still up for a while. Thanks for your suggestions, advice an patience.
