I am thinking of buying something like a Buffalo LinkStation Live 1TB or Seagate GoFlex Home 1TB which are hard drives which plugs into my router and provides network storage. If I want to transfer data wirelessly from my laptop to the hard drive does it actually use my internet connection?
Effectively I want to know because I have a 40gig data cap on my on my internet usage and if transferring data to the hard drive will eat into this, it is a no go.
