Alright, I am completely stumped over here. I have the Audiovox CDM 8900 cell phone. I know that the phone uses .png format for the images it views, I also know the size is supposed to be 128x145px in size. I have resized images of friends, posted them to a web server, and downloaded through my WAP browser. That seems to work fine, and I have a couple saved and working on my phone. Then I found a hockey logo, resized to the correct size, saved as .png, did everything the same, and I can view and save it in the browser, however, when I go to preview it in the wallpapers section, it says invalid image? I've also tried creating the company logo to the right size and format, uploaded, and i get the same thing...invalid format.
As it stands, the pictures (image taken from a camera) I resize and save work, but the images I create from scratch (company logo) don't work. What is the deal? The only thing I can see is that the images I create from scratch are under 10kb, while the images taken from a camera are around 30kb. That's the only difference I can see, but, why would the phone have a problem with smaller file sizes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
