I had just noticed a small little round hole in my betta's tail, and when I went back to check on him, there was a slit in his tail near the end. It doesn't appear to be fin rot, just holes in his tail. Is there anything to do for him, or should I just let them heal? He is in a 1gal tank with a silk plant and gravel. It might have been possible that he got his tail caught on the plant (somehow?), and caused it to rip. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
