About two months ago my throat started bothering me about once a week if that. I thought it was weather/allergy related. About two weeks ago I had daily heartburn/IBS for a week straight. I only got heartburn maybe once/twice a year before this. Now my throat is consistently sore, everyday it feels like a lump in my throat/hoarse/with shooting pain in the side of my throat from time to time. The heartburn sensation has pretty gone away, but my throat still hurts. Do you think I caused damaged from that week of heartburn, could it be gerd? If it is gerd/acid reflux do you think something like prilosec otc would help the hoarse throat? Anyone have sinliar symptoms? thanks for reading and hopefully replying!
