hmmm...... is the alright to do?

well my friend is catholic, she brings me to this christian church every wednesday night, its basicly a youthgroup and i was wondering...... well i am catholic so is it rong for me not only to attend another church but to attend another churtch with differences than mine? my mom thinks so but i dont, and i asked some of the people at the youthgroup this same question..... if i dont have any reasons/ proof to show my mom its fine, i might have to stop going, she doesnt like the whole idea of this......

your thoughts?
 
Catholics are christians too. I guess it all depepnds on what the youth group is doing that your mom is opposed to??
