I'm worried about a sex partner I had a few years ago. I have no symptoms, but I've heard that HIV can take years to show up. I recently was tested for anemia and several other things. My doctor did a Complete Blood Count.
If I had HIV, would they have let me know at that point? Or is there a specific test you have to do for HIV?
