The Republican platform of 1860 included all of the following points EXCEPT
A.Federal government support for a transcontinental railroad.
B.The passage of a higher protective tariff to aid business.
C.A proposal to provide nearly free western lands to free men.
D.A demand that slavery be ended everywhere immediately.

P.S. I would appreciate holding back on the, "Do your own homework" comments as i have tried to find the correct answer to this question for over half and hour now. Thanks
 
The answer is D. A demand that slavery be ended everywhere immediately. Trust me, I was in eighth grade history last year and I know this question...I never missed a single question on anything the teacher gave us!
