Please help!!!!
So, even though the beginnings of Mound Building in the Eastern Woodlands may have been as early as 1800 BC, its expansion and elaboration did not really begin until 100 BC with the Hopewell complex. Beginning at this time, why did mound building undergo a florescence (a change) that ultimately evolved into the Mississippian tradition?
PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I'm not sure if this is talking about the ending of the Hopewell Culture/Cult, or the introduction of corn (maize), or the trading routes?
