I love history and I wanted to pick up a book for some light reading (insert irony). Well I want to get a history book that contains the Ancient History of different cultures from ALL around the world. I also want a book that contains information on all the different lost civilizations from ALL around the world (ex: atlantis, babylon, etc). I want it to have many details about each civilization and how it came to be and outside references. Can any of you recommend any books like I have described above without recommending me an entire encyclopedia. Thanks! Its appreciated!
