...to fill our citizen's needs? In the Soviet Union, for example, the government did in fact run everything----even th elocal grocery stores.
While many think that having the government ration services is no different than American businesses rationing, the Soviet Union provides a tangible example with THEIR grocery stores vs. ours. Relatively speaking the Soviet Union's grocery stores had long lines, lower quality products and less selestion.
If you look at Britain's healthcare you do see that same phenomena once a governemnt-run approach was taken.
Would you prefer that Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi move us closer toward a governemnt-run monopoly? or would you rather to get back to our nation's historical roots and deregulate healthcare os that there is MORE COMPETITION between many more American businesses trying to fulfill our nation's healthcare needs?
Hasn't that been where American's competitive advantage has always been?
Do you believe in capitalism?
Why don't we rely on the federal governemnt to provide us citizens with food?
