Hip Pain

Not sure where to post this, so I will start here. I get hip pain on both sids of my hips after sitting in certain positions, on the toilet, standing too long. t will start as aggravating pain with some tingling sensations, then gradually goes down the front of the thighs. As a court reporter, I can sit for long periods of time. Sometimes it will take many hours to go away. It's seems to be getting worse. i though it may be sciatica, but just don't think it quite sounds like the right symptoms for that. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Well I certainly know about hip pain. I have it quite often. Most of the time it's when my hips (1 or both get out of place) I have to pay a visit to chiropractor. Started when I took a desk job about 6 years ago. If hip(s) get out of place it can make your legs, feet and back hurt. So might not hurt to have it checked out. I have trouble sitting or lying down when mine hurts. Good luck!!!

I have suffered from sciatica (either from piriformis or sacroiliac) for years now and in addition to severe pain in my butt and down my leg I have horrible hip pain that goes down the front of my leg. This could be because my PT discovered I have tilted hips -- which means they aren't lined up with each other making one leg longer than the other. I had special arches made for my shoes to help even it out and my PT adjusted my hip flexors every week. But I'm still suffering a lot... but this could be your problem just some advice!
