AW man cant wait to see this one
the first haunted me for days after id seen it
the two muntants in the caravan scared me to death
and that whole scene was just very uncomfortable to watch which is what a horror movie shuld do IMO.

THIS ONE WONT BE AS GOOD AS THE 1ST I KNOW BUT IT SHULD BE ENJOYABLE AT LEAST

It's a let down after the first one imo, still decent though if you like gore-fests, although i felt this one was a bit less violent for some reason.

I thought the 1st one was ok and like everyone else, thought the Caravan scene was sickening, quite disturbing...However,I still enjoy the blood and gore scenes in films so will most definately see this one too

oh god i just seen this what an awful awful movie everyonne was laughing at the mutants in the cinema they were so stupid looking they really were.

i founf this 1 very boring storywise the characters did my head in aswell.
1st was much better

oh well

Are we talking about Wes Craven's original or the 2006 remake?
Haven't seen the remake. But I can recommend a certain version of the Wes Craven original DVD because it has an EXCELLENT documentary on the history of American horror films as a bonus feature - quite thorough, and how the development of the films reflected changes in world events.

I thought this one was far superior to the first really, enjoyed it a lot more. I felt with the first one they made you jump at every given moment and when a film is trying to do that all the time it loses the noovelty of when you should really be jumping. First one was fun but this one was much better.

No way was this one better than the first. The directing in the first was much better, had a clear concept. This one was more comedy than horror. Still a sick film though with the usual rape and gore fests.

I just thought that it was very lazy, you know what's going to happen, modern horror film. Just try to make it as sick as possible and turf it out.

I saw it on Sunday night and thought it was quite decent, not brilliant though and nowhere near the 2006 remake which was superb for a horror movie.

Did anyone else think the director had some kind of influence from Aliens? (Marines, tunnels, underground etc)

Saw it tonight, it's a bit more straightforward than the first one - they basically just blunder about getting picked off one by one, very old school - but it had its moments. Overall I enjoyed it. Good fun.
