I am looking for some good hiking places in North Carolina. Ideally I am looking for day trip excursions as well as entire weekends. I would really like to be around rivers, streams, and/or waterfalls, oh and cliff jumping. I live in Charlotte, NC ideally the closer the better but I will take any an all suggestions and thank you for your help.
