Benedict Cumberbatch presenting....
It still feels as if it should be Friday night viewing for me...
Hope this is better than the last series which left me pretty meh...
 
No doubt there will be a few "not as good as it used to be" or "passed it's best" posts in here.

It's still good viewing, still funny and still one of the highlights of the weeks programmes...
 
So far so good, Benedict's coming across really well and the panellists pretty good so far - Jon RicharRABon getting a lot of airtime so far.

Liked Benedict's "He's not Danny Dyer" reference to the son of the North Korean leader in a flat cap :)
 
Anyone notice the twitter hash tags at the start of the episode #bbchifnfy

Personally I will still use the good old #hignfy. Don't want to start adding the channel to EVERY tweet in which I mention a TV show.
 
It was okay, but as so often recently it was spoilt by shots of Merton looking miserable and sulky as he was constantly upstaged by his much funnier "team mate".
 
Does the host usually read off bits of paper that much, I thought they usually use the autocue, I found it a bit distracting.
 
The worst one is Fearne Britton - she actually puts her glasses on the end of her nose just so that she can hold the carRAB up to read them.

VERY annoying ..
 
I thought Cumberbatch wasn't a comfortable presenter at all - he wasn't very spontaneous and didn't wait for people to speak till going onto the next autocue.

A few decent laughs but Presenters are only as funny as their scripts.


and Victorian Coren is highly over rated. I'm not a fan.
