Highway pegs/bars for M50?

Anyone have any suggestions for highway pegs for the M50? I've had my '05 M50 for about 4 months, and I'm realizing there's a real shortage of aftermarket products for this baby. I hate floorboards (they make the bike look too bulky), and I am resistant to crashbars (once again, too bulky-looking). I've found one set of highway pegs on one website (Scootworks.com), but the picture of the product isn't really clear. I've also considered adding Kuryakin stirrups (heel rests)...anything to give me a little more comfort and somwhere else to plant my feet!

Any suggstions? Thanks, y'all.

I put on the OEM crash bars on my M50, they do not give as much protection as the larger ones, but they fit the lines of the bike much better. On the bars I attached Kuryakyn Small ISO pegs for stretching out on the highway, then I replaced the stock footpegs with Kuryakyn large ISO pegs. I find it quite comfortable without sacrificing too much of the bikes form.

Hey, Time4Me...

How much did all that set you back? I do like that the OEM crash bars are thin and not bulky. Do you have any pics I can look at? Also, where did you find the OEM crash bars? On Everythingsuzuki.com, they advertise "case bars." Same thing?

I put the OEm Hiway Bars (they are more like case guards) on. They are 1 1/4 inch diam. Then I put on the Kuyakan ISO pegs. They don't take away from the bike (No large freeway bars) and tuck in nice when you don't want them. I got the case guards from the dealer. Have them look in the Suzuki OEM catalog. The ISO pegs can be adjusted forward or backward and can fit any size legs. They fold up out of the way when you don't want them.

Hey Mishap, sorry it took a while to get back on this. Here's a few of pics to show the pegs and case guard in the up and down positions.

I hope that helps. I don't remember the cost and since we moved since I bought them, finding the records could be a problem. The OEM bars are called case guard or engine guard, depending on which vendor you are looking at I got the pegs and clamps from SCOOTWORKS Belt Drives, lowering kits, handlebar risers, motorcycle parts and accessories, chrome bolts

Thanks, Time4Me...those pictures look great! You're right...not too bulky, looks like it was made to be part of the bike.

I've already ordered my large ISO pegs with heelrests (actually, I've had them for a few days; my dealer ordered the wrong adapters). Then, I'm going to do what you and 6thgradeteach did; add the OEM crashbars and small ISO pegs. It really helped for me to see those pics and hear your suggestions. Thanks again.
