Highschool Football qustion?

i am a freshmen 6'0 220lbs my football season is almost done and i was wonderin wat kind of things should i do in the offseason to get streanth and in the upper body i do push ups is that good and i was wondering if u can give me tips of how much should i work out and will lifting stop me from growing thanks
 
Lifting weights will not stunt your growth as long as you don't over do it. You should do a well balanced work out of alternating upper lower and core. This will help you with football no matter what position. I suggest long runs, arm and legs in the gym.
