For over 100 years Country Life magazine has celebrated the great country houses of England, and peeked into the lives of those who lived in them. This film tracks down five blue-blooded women who were featured announcing their engagements on its most well-known page.

This was interesting to see how having a title doesn't help if the money isn't there. It was nice that they didn't try and judge the people being interviewed. I love how nearly every child had a versy aristo look maybe it's genetic. But why do documentaries not just film people sitting and speaking the camera seems to have to move everywhere X

I don't see what there was to judge.

They came across pretty much as a pleasant bunch of people. Yes, most of them had plenty of money, but so what - quite a few people do. I think it came over that money isn't everything, though quite nice to have.

I think only people with a severe chip on their shoulder could take issue with this gentle documentary.
