High School Students @ The Movies

Hell, if you hate the movie theater that much just download the shit off of limewire or frostwire.

As a kid, we used to go to the movie theater armed with a squirt gun, and thought it was the height of hilarity to shoot our friends and watch them try to figure out why it was raining. As a grown-up, it's not as funny, primarily because the local theater closed and now we're stuck going to a mall multi-complex, where most of the audience are strangers.

Actually, most folks are pretty courteous at the theater we frequent. It's probably social pressure - behavior is contagious, and we're lucky enough to live in an area where people are generally thoughtful of others. That's not to say we don't have our share of oblivious/inconsiderate asswipes, but they're in the minority.

Gads, does that mean we have a politically correct social program coming for the idiots who fail to recognize social niceties?

I used to work for Century Theatres and when I heard of kids doing that I asked them to leave the theatre. You can go to any theatre and ask that the manager ask them to stop or have them excorted out. It is in the policy for every major theatre in the US.

I used to like going to the movies but now I don't see the point. For 16 bucks I can rent 4-5 new realeases and pop them in my dvd player on my big ass tv (with surround sound) and if my kid starts being obnoxious I can pause it. I also get the comfort of my couch. I also don't have to buy a $5.00 fountain drink and I can buy a box of popcorn for under 2 dollars. Maybe I'm cheap.

Sadly though - I still have the problem with teenagers. See my posts on my neighbors.

Only problem I have is when parents bring their little shits to the theatre only to have them laughing at all the comical relief fart jokes.

Maybe you should take into consideration that they couldn't find a babysitter or maybe they wanted to spend time with their family.

I bring my 5 month old into a theater because:

A) I can't leave her at home by herself
B) To annoy people like you
C) Family time
D) To annoy the teenager talking and texting on their phone a couple rows in front of me
