An Onerous Task.

So my parents were not going to let me go to a regular public school in the area I live in because the schools in this area are full of drug dealers and gang members, also only 8 to 10 percent of all people go to college, 42 percent graduate.
At my magnet school, about 10 people go to a top 5 university every year and 100 percent graduate. The school is ranked number 1 in the whole state.
Well I have the good grades (3.4 unweighted GPA with TONS of honors courses) and a 1940 SAT score which I look to improve.
Is there any alternative for me to play organized football if I did not play it in high school? (like play football with helmets and everything on)
I have already been accepted into UGA (they mailed me) but I really do not want to attend because it is a d-1a program and they require high school experience
I would REALLY love to play football for one year.
