I have a couple of months til a specific audition and I need to start preparing a solo now in the summer while I have time to take private lessons. I'm auditioning for a group that's for talented high school level players so exactly what song would be great for a solo and how should I do my e flat scale how many slurs??
For the solo I'm looking for something that has a lot of shifting, left hand pizz., harmonics, different bowing styles, it doesn't have to have double stops but I love those, and I want something that has at least a couple of half notes or longer cause i like holding notes....I like everything.
