HIGH SCHOOL GUYS ONLY PLEASE Hi, so I will try to make this as short as I can, but I think it will be better to know as much as you can about the situation so you can answer as best as you can

So I am in high school and there is this boy that just transferred into only one of my classes a couple of months ago from another school. He is kinda shy, artsy, yet a bad boy. The first day he was in my class, I almost didn't see him unless the teacher said something. He was in the corner, and he immediately caught my interest. During that class, I noticed him staring at me practically the whole time. So then, for the next month, I decided to sit next to him and get to know him. We learned so much about each other, and we even worked on a project together, so we spent extra time together after school and such. He has my number in his phone, but only texted me once to talk about the project. I'm practically the only one he talks to in this class, and he learned my name really fast before he knew everyone else's (since he was new) and did sweet things like picked up the paper for me when it fell off my desk. After a month of sitting next to him, I realized it wasn't going anywhere and I randomly moved across the room one day for a week (then it was winter break...). Even that day he still came up to me and talked about school, and I still caught him looking at me a whole bunch. Plus, my friend said that he was staring at me outside of class during nutrition one day.
The question is: Guys, do you think he likes me? Do I have a chance?
I'm getting mixed feelings, especially since he leaves class right away(I don't know why since it is the last class of the day and it's not like he leaves school right away) and doesn't talk to me outside of that class.
