I want to join the Marines or the Army once I get out of high school, and I heard that if you take this class you would gain some recognition or a higher rank on initial join to the military. Well the class that is available at my high school is the United States Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp. Now this is the air force, but as I said I do not want to join the air force. Would this negate me earning that extra recognition and even if it does should I take this class anyway just for experience?
