Let's say I like this guy, he's been in our school activity group as long as I has, and we're very good friends. Over time, I've learned to trust him to help me when I don't understand something because I know he'll help me. We also talk to each other when strife hits our lives, and if I need something done or need to make sure this goes well, I can always ask him. We also have a good time together, just talking teasing and laughing. I have a lot of respect for this kid because not only is he crazy but he's always there to help me through life.
I haven't gone out with anyone, but isn't this a pretty good instance for dating? Am I silly to like him and want him as more than a friend, or should I not be thinking of that at all? I've liked him for about ten months now, so is it worth it, love or just lust to be going out without someone?
