Ok, so here’s my problem. I have a 4-channel amp running my 4 speakers, I have a mono block running my sub. I have a horrible high pitch sound coming through my speakers right now and it sounds to me like its alternator whine. It only occurs when I have the engine and air conditioning running. So I am able to just have the head unit on and listen to music without the sound coming through the speakers. I have checked all the groundings and I know it is not them. I have had this problem before and I fixed it by simply taking the RCA’s out and putting them back in. I think the issue could be my signal strength from the head unit to the 4-channel amp. I only have one pair of outputs in the head unit so I compensated for this by using male to female jacks. I have a male to two female jacks in each output of the head unit leading RCA’s directly to the mono block and RCA’s to two female to male jacks which connect to the 4-channel amp. I tried to use the high inputs in the 4-channel amp but they didn’t work for some reason.
This is a real hard situation and I would appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.
I would like to avoid using any filters
