I found a dealer in my area with two cars- a 2010 Mazda 3i Touring Sedan with 40,000 miles, and a 2010 Toyota Corolla LE with 9,000 miles. Both cars would have the same payment. I took both of them for a test drive today. The Corolla is kind of normal looking, and drives well. The Mazda, though, is awesome looking and drives amazingly.
My parents have never had a Toyota or Mazda, so we don't really know which is better. I really love the Mazda, but the Toyota is almost new with only 9k miles on it. If you had to choose, which would you pick? My parents told me to pick because it will be my car. My heart wants me to get the Mazda, but my brain is telling me that the Toyota is a better deal. :/
About the highway vs. city mileage, I also should have mentioned that the Corolla was previously a program car, and the Mazda was previously a rental car. Not sure if that makes much of a difference.
