High idle on my 1990 Dodge D50 (Mitsubishi Mighty Max)?

my 1990 dodge d50 is idling high... i dont have a tachometer but it seems to idle at like 1200 rom or so? converted to fuel injected from carburated... idling high at stops at cant shift down... i can loosen the throttle butterfly screw all the way and idle is still high..... wondering what it could be?
