harmful to my child? I went to get a routine glucose test for pregnant women. They made me drink the sugar juice and sit for an hour before drawing my blood. 24 Hours later my doctor called and said that my glucose was high and my white blood cells tested high as well. My glucose was 190, and is supposed to be 140 and under. I go back tomorrow for a urinalysis, but Im sure it is gestational diabetes, due to the fact that my older sister had this in her second pregnancy. Could this be harmful to my son? I would love to hear stories of women who have gone through this, or people who know someone who has. I am frantic.
