Hiding from Public Backlash?

"Hiding from public backlash" This is the phrase read in a BayTSP press release.....

This is how I think it should be and feel free to use it anywhere.

I think if these companies are going to engage in this kind of vigalantie
behavour, they should have all their names made public. I do not think they
should be able to hide behind BayTSP, Overpeer, and Non-Disclosure
Agreements, Etc. We should have a right to be informed so we can boy-cott
their product if we choose to do so. call your legislators and demand that
the names of these companies be made public, at a minimum we have that
right.

t_j4... Isn't this whole thing also very much a question of those who are North American residents and/but those who are not ???

Different draconian laws and different attitudes to the relinquishing of personal liberties.
NO, I do not mean that 'personal liberties' imply a right to infringe international copyright legislations, but they do mean a difference in the manner in/by which such regulations are enforced.
In the USA, ANYTHING goes as per corporate power intimidating and crushing the 'little guy'. Not.... NOT the same outside of the USA.

DownLoading is LEGAL... Right ?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, ursula. Those five companies don't just control the music market in the US, they control most of the music and also the movie industry world-wide. And they are not just the ones behind the RIAA, MPAA but also behind different comparable lobbyist groups all over the world.

You are right, they should be made public. Lets encourage news site to post the names. We should make a site with the companies info if there isn't already one.
