Hidden "Inappropriate" Content in Cartoons

Well, I've heard of F-bombs and whatnot being hidden in "Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?" but I never noticed it myself.

Also, I was watching a Code Lyoko episode, and was curious about what was in this image:

Esprit_frappeur_007.jpg

So, I googled it. I thought it was a French word... But apparently, it's a slang term for marijuana.

It could be coincidental, I don't know.

It could have just meant the paper had an anti-drug ad on the back (I don't know but they could be common in French papers).

I remember 2 instances in He-Man's original cartoon that made me say, "WTF". I was watching it with a friend a few years ago over some chinese food and there was a scene where the guy with the interchangable eyes had He-Man in a full nelson headlock and both men were grunting loudly and it sounded erotic, then He-Man said........."It's time for me to GET YOU OFF!" and they were swaying in a motion that looked......questionable, if you know what I mean. Then in another episode of He-Man the crew of bad guys who were led by Skeletor were trying to get into Greyskull but were met at the gates by He-Man and company, when Skeletor complained about being caught He-Man went ahead and said, "Next time why don't you slip into my BACK DOOR Skeletor!". I spit out my drink to say the least......

apparently there was an old looney toons episode where the grandmother from the sylvester and tweety segments was putting on hats and becoming different historical figures in front of a mirror. She'd become Lincoln and say something like "4 score and 7 years ago..." then she puts on a washington hat and go "i can not tell a lie" and then she put on a napoleon bonaparte (sp?) and said "not tonight dear" because apparently he was impotent.

:D Rewatching Beast Wars, I found Black Arachnia to be veeeeeeeery inappropriate.

Examples include
Her flirting sequence with the Waspinator possessed Star Scream, and allowing his advances.
Taking a unreasonable long time to tell Tarantulas to get off the top of her when they were blown back by an explosion. I think she said something along the lines of "Fun's over."

And don't forget Airazor when she was kneeling at Optimus' feet, rubbing his inner thigh...A very memorable scene. :D

In the Dexter's Lab episode where he and Dee Dee had decoder rings, Dee Dee said something like "Your club is of K-D-I-C's" (anagram for "dick").

Also in that episode where she was going to get a tatoo, there was a had flipping the bird on the wall. Go look up "Getting Crap Past the Radar" on TV Tropes. I think there was a picture. The censors must of caught it because I have a recording of that episode from 2005 and its not there.

Another Beast Wars example:

Upon his return from a patrol with Blackarachnia, Silverbolt is questioned by Rattrap:
"Find any new positions?"

or words to that effect

But seriously, anyone who is trying hard enough to dig up questionable content will find it in anything. What they find often says more about the one doing the looking than what they're looking at.

In Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs:

- Sid tries to milk a yak, then the yak makes a face, and is then seen chasing Sid, who is saying "I thought you were a female!"
- Diego and Manny are being pressed up against each other, when Diego says, "I feel all tingly!" Manny says, "Don't say that when you're pressed up against me!" "Not that kind of tingly!"
- Buck says (referring to a rainbow-colored butterfly) "I knew him when he was a caterpillar, before he 'came out'!"
- He also mentioned the time he turned a T-Rex into a T-Rachel.
- When a baby is born, Sid says, "It's a boy!" to which Diego replies "That's a tail!"

Power Puff Girls: The girls have one of those loud, incomprehensible arguments about the gender of a squirrel. All we can understand is the last line:

Bubbles: Squirrels EAT nuts, stupid!

Let's also not forget all the "prison rape" jokes with Mojo Jojo. For example: when Mojo went to jail on the "Cooties" episode, his (male) cellmate gave him "the look" as the narrator says "Love is in the air..." :ack::eek:

In Billy & Mandy:
Grim: Don't make me go medieval on your--
Irwin: AS I was saying...

Spongebob, Patrick, and Mr. Krabs going on a panty raid.
In the house of Mr. Krabs' mother.

In KND, a scene of the team's reactions when Numbuh 5 tells them where babies come from.
Numbuh 5 is just nodding while everyone else is busy freaking out.

In Teen Titans:
Beast Boy was trying to cheer up Cyborg by juggling a cookie while turning into different animals, and then made it show up in his mouth after sucking it in with an elephant's trunk.
BB: "Ta-da!"
-thrown into the opposite side of the room by Cyborg-
"What do I have to do, make it come out of my--"

more recently (idk if this would count actually), but in Flapjack,
K'nuckles ate a whole bunch of hotdogs to get fat so he could fit into these pants,
and then exploded at the Candy Barrel.
The screen turned red, and there was liquid filling the room with hot dogs flying everywhere.
And all that was left were his eyes and nose.

What do you think flooded the Candy Barrel?

In a Chowder episode "Endive's Dirty Secret", in a scene where Endive chases after Mung and co. over a picture, on the backgrounds you can see a sign saying "Madame B.S. Fortune Telling Service".

She told him that they came from New Jersey IIRC. Also that reminds me of another thing that came from KND. In Operation H.O.L.I.D.A.Y., when Lizzie asks Numbuhs 2 and 3 about who Numbuh 10 was, Numbuh 2 said "She can pilot my ship any time". Umm, yeah...

There's another one. The one where Schnitzel and Chowder make a delivery to that guy that lives on top of a giant. While they're scaling the Giant, and they're near his waist line, they both notice crabs, Chowder asks where they come from, while Schnitzel said "You don't want to know" in his Radda Radda talk. I kind of laughed at that instance.

In one of the last episodes of the 1987 Ninja Turtles mini-series, Bebop and Rocksteady are trapped in a zoo cage, and one of them calls April "You little bimbo!" I never noticed it until watching it at a friend's house a few years ago, and we both started laughing. We had to rewind the tape to make sure we'd heard it right. Haha!!

The one I always remember the most is where they sing a song about a particular lake on the border of Peru and Bolivia. I saw that with a friend at his apartment one day after school, and when his older sister heard it she was like, "Are they singing what I think they're singing?" :D I think it was obvious the only reason they did that song was because they could get away with it, being that it was the lake's real name after all. LOL!!!

The entire Powerpuff Girl's episode featuring Dick Hardly.

Though I suppose the inappropriate content in that episode wasn't exactly hidden. I mean GEEZ, how did ANY of that stuff fly past the censors?
