a pitcher throws a baseball at 140km/h. if the plate is 28.3m away, how far does the ball drop if we assume the ball started travelling towards the plate horizontally?
if you could, would you please show the steps

find out how fast its going in m/s, then find out how long it takes to get to the plate. After that, you plug your seconds into the equation 9.81m/s and your answer should be a decimal of meters. I'm too lazy to do the work for you, but thats how you do it :P
