...class..HELP !!!? I'm supposed to complete a proposal by tomorrow and for some reason I can't understand what he wants us to do and need help understanding it. So if someone could help me with it I'd really appreciate it.

here it goes: Our final project is supposed to be a well-researched, analytical essay that makes a focused, unique and significant argument about a work of literature that we've discussed in class. It could be anything but that is not the important thing right now!! I just need help understanding this rubric ://// !!! In the essay we're expected to interact with critics, theoretical positions, modes of criticism--psychoanalytic, feminist, or archetypal---and/or historical contexts and reflect disagreement with as well as reliance upon published works...(every time I read this it just flies way over my head :/).
Criteria:
1. The proposal should frame a literary issue/idea that I'm interested in exploring.
2. It needs to briefly discuss which critical lens--psychoanalytic, feminist, archetypal--I used to co me up with this idea.
3. It should provide some ideas I will use to explore the topic.
4. Discuss why the idea is so arguable! What are opposing arguments/ideas?

Could someone also help clarify the psychoanalytic, feminist, and archetypal/mythological lenses we're supposed to follow. Because honestly as of right now I'm confused as ever!! THANKS!!
