Hi. I have a Ford Focus 2002 2.0L. The engine light just came on on the dash.?

Somebody told me to turn the gas cap which I did and the dash light is till on. I checked both the engine & transmission oil and everything is ok.

Any suggestions?

go to autozone they hook your car up to a computer for free and tell you whats wrong with otherwise you can go to mechanic and pay 30 bucks and he'll tell you

90% of the time when the engine light comes on its either the oxygen sensor or erg valve or pcv valve
