The mechanic said that I need a new crankshift pulley and pin but I was told the only way you can damage it is by dropping it while putting it in? He also said I need a timing belt cover and other belt covers and all in all he said it would cost $950! So I guess my last question is should I throw a brick through his house window, or car?

It's an automatic and I've only had it for 2 months. Thank you for the sarcastic answers but if I wanted those I would have asked my boyfriend. A 'real' thank you to those that had some useful information.
