Hi guys!

Welcome Desmobabe. I'm a kiwi living in Chicago and will be going to Athens Greece on the 25th of June for a conference. Any pointers on what to do in Greece? I might also do a side trip and do the holy pilgrimage visiting the Ducati Factory Museum in Bologna afterwards.

Good to see another gal out there...welcome to the best spot on the Web! Thanks for the mention TW and if OZ is giving out carbon fiber stuff, I would like to put my order in.

Welcome to the forum desmobabe, and to dr r2r i had travelled to Bologna from Oz a few years ago just to check out the factory and you would'nt believe it the Italians had the pharken place closed for some reno's, so i would call first to see if there open during your visit...they take some long summer vacations!!
I would definately travel to the island of Mykonos (if you have time) and retire......at least till summer is over!!

Thank you for the heads up luigionassis. I have registered in the Ducati Factory Museum website and is just waiting confirmation from the 3 dates that I have submitted. I hope that I can get in, if not I would probably visit the Ferrari and Lamborghini Factory.

Thanks again for the warm welcome everyone!

dr r2r, since you will be in Greece I'd try to squeeze a quick trip to one of the islands close to where you will be. There are heaps of boats from the Peiraias port (near Athens) to various islands of the Aegean. Plenty of archaeological sites to visit all over the country, Athens has the Acropolis, the Delfi Oracle is another place a couple of hours away and another site is at Olympia. Other than that just enjoy the sun and the sea and if you pass through Patra give us a shout for a ducatisti meet And you must go to Borgo Panigale, I was there in January and it's AWESOME! I think every ducatista should make the trip at least once in their life

Oz...1 down!!!

Ms. Desmobabe (Howdy matey),
Will try your suggestions. I have 5 days to spend in Greece and 4 days in Italy. Now...if I can only find a suitcase big enough to put in my Ducati.....

Unfortunately the BST wheels promo was only open to new female members between the ages of 18 and 45 who were living in Greece at the moment TW.. but you know you have all our respect and caring !!
