So i need a good/AMAZING book to read,{Besides twilight haha} So i am a writer,and i don't think i'm a good writer at all...So i just want to read amazing books,because for one..I'm bored.
And second of all,i need some inspiration to help me with writing stories. So does any Y! user out there write really good books? And also,Can you give me a link to a site where i can go to read good books? Thanks!
Oh! I love romantic,mysterious kind of books. :) {Genre's}

Riptide, by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Childe. This is a great thriller about buried pirate treasure; two boys try to dig it up, and one of them literally vanishes in an ancient booby-trap. It's not until 20 years later that the surviving brother finds out what happened, and discovers an even bigger trap awaiting the people who're digging up the treasure.

Excellent book. I've read it twice.

Anything T.S. Eliot, Franz Kafka,Isaac Babel James Joyce, Thomas

Mann, The sixteenth/seventeenth-century Metaphysical Poets,

Shakespeare, O.Henry, William Faulkner, E.A. Robinson, Chretien de

Troyes, Grimms' Bros., Flannery O'Connor, or E.T.A. Hoffman. Also

try "VALIS" and "Ubik" by Philip K. Dick, "Solaris" by

Stanislaw Lem, "Blood Meridian" and "The Road" by Cormac

McCarthy,"Thus Spoke Zarathustra" by Friedrich Nietzsche, "The

Adventures of Augie March", "The Victim," "Herzog," "Henderson the

Rain King," and "Mr. Sammler's Planet" by Saul Bellow, anything by

David Foster Wallace or Ray Bradbury, and...well, steer clear

of "Twilight," Bret Easton Ellis, and Chuck Palahaknik, and you'll be in

pretty good shape.

i really love the house of night series and the mortal instruments also my favorite he's with me

You know you can get great inspiration from walking through the library or your favorite bookstore. Walk down the aisle and grab a book and read a page or two. Spend some time doing that. You never know what you could find. You might fall into an amazing book!

Have a great summer!!!!

The city of Ember- Jeanne DuPrau. i know the movie came out and i dont plan on seeing it. i also dont plan on reading the sequel [you can if you want tho] Its just a really intense fantasy/sci-fi sorta book that really grabs you
