Hey I'm interested in buying a 1969 Ford Mustang think its a good idea?

I'm not sure how long it's been sitting where it is but its been some years, the guy wants 6000. It needs a carburetor and im not sure if it needs anything else the paint, interior and wheels all look good.
 
$6000 sounds reasonable if it's a fastback (sportsroof). It sounds a bit steep for a non-running coupe though.
 
well first type how to check used car into search box get a list to follow but since it wil not run you will not know what it might or might not need stil you get working on it you can look into ebay for others wil give you a price or a ideal but mostly a check list and just knowing some about cars and how to repair them id say its high but then again its a mustang
