SCIENCE too.? Here it is:

This summer there has been much acrimony in the health care debate, with partisans on each side calling the other un-American. Exactly what does it mean to be an American? Your task is to identify and describe three characteristics of an American, and to explain why these are important characteristics.


i dont want you to answer the essay, just give me your ideas of how americans are patriotic and stuff.

The issue that marred the health care debate has nothing to do with whether the side that wants a government sponsored program, or the side that does not want it, is un-American.

The main problem was that the debate in public places was and is very acrimonious, and people are not allowed to speak and express their views because other people in the audience shout and yell and do not allow a sober discussion. It is this type of behavior that is considered un-American because it denies individuals their right to free speech.
