hey i have the nokia 6500 slide and i need help?

hey so my nokia 6500 slide is getting weird. when i slide the screen it turns off, sometimes when i put it down hard it turns off......i have no idea wat to do..........when it turns off i turn it back on and its working until something happens to make it turn off.....any ideas wat might cause this>?
