hey guys i have chevy camero 1978 that has a 305 motor thats been siting inside for 15

years? what do i need to get the motor running again with out getting a complete rebuild done to it

should i just replace all gaskets and hope that it will start

or do i need new pistons and everything else

note the car was in good running condition before it was put away in the Lady's garage

what should i do please help
 
Did you try to start it yet?
My dads old pickup sat for 10 years and with a new battery it turned over and soon enough fired up, even with the old gas in it

....
things that should be looked into or checked..
Change/check oil and coolant levels
New spark plugs and wires.
Clean carb
New fuel and fuel filter.
Battery
check belt condition and tension.

start from there and see how it does.

should not need new gaskets or seals unless they are leaking pistons also should be fine unless moisture got in and siezed/rusted from the inside out.
