Let us know what happens when you call your derm tomorrow about the ringing in your ears! I hope it went away!

I still haven't called my doc. I have an appt. on the 5th of Feb. I figured I would just tell him then. I already read everything about tinnitus, and other then him saying...yeah then stay off the meRAB...I dont know what the point in calling is! I will not go back on it no matter what he says. The ringing is still in my ears, but it hasn't gotten worse. The oil in my skin is starting to come back a bit too
OH well. I will ask him about hormonal treatments again. He said because I didn't have common symptoms of someone with hormonal acne, that hormonal treatment wouldn't help, but I want to ask him why not!!! boo hoo Also, he said with bcp's that it's a 50/50 chance it would help

I am so sorry! That bites you still have the ringing even though you stopped accutane. I hope it stops and I also hope your derm has some good options for you. I wonder why some people get that side effect? I hear (ah...no pun intended)that it is a very uncommon side effect.

hi, I have read your story while researching for my tinnitus possibly caused by ruactan. I know it has been a long time since you left these posts, about 8 years!
but suffering from this ringing for about 5 days since I left ruactan. I wonder if the tinnitus went away or you have experienced other porblems related to Ruactan.
