His most overlooked movie yet. It's a funny and exciting story set in the 50's when Abestos was everywhere in each building, guys dress up in black leather jackets and Elvis was king as it's a character study of a guy named Vinnie who is trying everything to survive in 50's New York even with his hot girlfriend Rozzie.

It's worth a view and i've always enjoyed it since high school with my VHS copy, i think Warner DVD Club exclusives should have this on DVD.

I saw this recently and it's probably one of Bakshi's best, behind Heavy Traffic and Coonskin. It's a shame that it has yet to get a DVD release but hopefully we'll get it and Coonskin on DVD someday in a two disc pack or something.
