hey does anybody know of a good way to color coordinate with your own clothes ?

well today was my first day of college and my outfit was cute for first day of freshman year, but i think that because i like to wear bright colors, and wear casual but cute clothes, sometimes i need a little help with coordination with how to match colors so they match the style of clothing but don't worry i don't wear stripes with polka dots, or blouses with shorts, i know how to dress the right way it's just color and fabric matching i think is sometimes weird thanks- please help
 
like get a dark with a light of the same color
example:
dark blue and light blue
violet and purple
pink and dark pink
light green with green
or these are some good color that go together:
black goes with any color
white with light colors
greena nd light pink
navy blue with red
ETC ....there is alot of matches and if u doubt sumthing will look good together just try it on
