I was going home when i went around(to avoid it) a speedbump going possibly 15 mph. 2 minutes later i get pulled over for it. Guy notices i have a bottle of drugs with no label. Its just my anti biotics, i told him i didnt know i wasnt allowed to remove the label and the prescription is at home. Moments later i am being placed under arrest and put into a cop car, im a good kid, i start freaking out and hyperventilating and i ask for 911, they later tell me it was a panic attack. Anyways when i get to the hospital cop tells me that im still under arrest but theyre not going to wait for me, that their attorney is going to contact me. I finished up at the hospital and i checked out. Now im home laying in bed and cannot sleep, im blown away by what ive just gone through, i know its my fault for not having the prescription on me but i cant help but feel that the law is skewed... And the hospital charged me $420 just to sit me there for an hour or two for the doctor to come by check me in 2 minutes and send me on my way. My question is how can i be left to go home when im "arrested"?
Hey any lawyers or any police officers could you explain how can i be arrested at home?
