My husband is very much SCREWED now, his ex has filed for child support after he "stupidly" had come to a verbal agreement with her that he would pay her cash. He was giving her $100 weekly $60 for their daughter and $40 for a son she already had by someone else but he helped raised.
They boy through all his life thought my husband was his father until last year that he was told the truth. So now he has to present himself in court and is told that he owes her $33,000.!!! because she told the C.S. social worker that when they broke up there were cars they jointly bought that he kept and sold.!!! Some how she showed those car titles, its true they had purchased an SUV but she kept it. He was left with nothing.
She called laughing to tell him that on his court day he'll be locked up. I'm scared I'm going to lose my husband we have a toddler together is there any hope for him.? We live in Texas and they were never married.
