if it is not on your lip less likely it is herpes. sounds like inflamed pimples on your chin.

try warm soaks - don't poke-pop or squeeze--just use anyibacterial soap--

hope this helps

I got some what appears to be small blisters (4) below my lower right lip (not touching my lip). They developed monday and of course i freak out and assume it is herpes. I asked a couple people and they think their razor bumps. I have been antiseptic and it got a little better. Last night I put hydrogin pyroxide and toothpaste (which I used to do on acne) on them and now the area is inflamed and where the bumps were are now black. I am not sure if it's just an infection due to me shaving (I don't use shaving cream, just Mach 3) but I made an appointment monday to be sure. Now say it goes away by then, can a Dr test me for herpes after the symptoms have gone away? Can this just be razor bumps that are inflamed with me over medicating them?

Cold sores usually last at least 7 days for me, so I wouuld think at the very least the herpes cells would still be there for him to test. Oral herpes is so common, but I hope that's not what it is. And just in case, do not use toothpaste or hydrogin peroxide - it will not help and make it more painful
